1) Select the Network Selection dropdown and select Custom RPC.
2) Fill in the form:
Network Name: Matic Network
New RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com/
ChainID: 137
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/
Recently the Polygon blockchain has seen unprecedented activity, causing the RPC endpoints to be overloaded. If you are experiencing erratic site loading, transaction delays/failures, or other unexpected behaviour, you may be experiencing an RPC issue.In times of congested networks, consider changing the RPC URL used by MetaMask:

Best way to use is to ensure that you have a dedicated connection from where you access 3rd party providers like Alchemy.com or Infura where you create an account and then create RPC Endpoints and your HTTPS url!
